The FKI GL 9640 is an electric tabletop griddle (plancha) designed for high-throughput cooking in restaurants, hotels, cafs and catering operations. Its fully welded stainless steel body houses two independently controlled heating zones delivering a combined 4.0 kW at 400 V, giving line cooks precise, zone-by-zone temperature management via manual thermostats ideal for running proteins and vegetables simultaneously at different heat levels.

The smooth flat cooking plate and rounded edges minimise food trap points and make end-of-service cleaning straightforward, while the removable grease drawer keeps the station tidy during a busy service. The GL 9640 is also compatible with the FKI bridge system: it stacks directly on the GL 9560 bottom bridge, letting operators build a compact, space-efficient cooking line without additional floor footprint.
