A single slotted upright for the Galvatop version of the Universal shelving system, formed from EN 10147 S250 GD Z100 pre-galvanised steel in a 49 28 mm section. Slots run the full height on a 25 mm pitch.

The zinc coating runs through the whole section rather than sitting on top of it, which suits damp stores, chill rooms and unheated warehouses. At 3000 mm the manufacturer specifies one cross brace every eight bays for runs carrying up to 1000 kg.
