The NOR842 is a single-actuation automatic drop seal designed for retrofit installation to the side face of hinged acoustic glass doors with glass thickness greater than 6mm. It shares the same housing profile, actuation mechanism, and fixing method as the NOR840 and NOR841, but accommodates any glass thickness up to 6mm making it the universal side-mount variant in the hinged glass door drop seal range, appropriate where the exact glass thickness does not match the NOR840 (8mm) or NOR841 (10mm) specific variants. The housing is bonded to the side face of the glass door leaf.
